ConnectMe

The Pop-up in ConnectMe feature adds screen-pops to ConnectMe. When a call comes in, VoIPcube can send ConnectMe a pop-up containing information about the caller — for example details pulled from a connected CRM — which ConnectMe displays directly under the callbox. The person answering the phone sees who is calling and the relevant context before or during the conversation, without switching applications.

What a pop-up can contain

A pop-up is more than a name and a number. At its core it displays a list of key-value pairs with information about the call — for example basic caller information, or details about the latest ticket. Depending on what the connected integration sends, it can also include:

  • Richer, structured objects (for example a customer record with several fields).

  • Deeplinks that open a relevant record or page.

  • Simple custom triggers (buttons that kick off an action).

  • Forms that the agent can fill in and submit.

What is not included yet

ConnectMe implements the pop-up display only. Other capabilities — call tagging, triggering workflows, and changing the user's DID (Direct Inward Dialing) number — are not yet available in ConnectMe. For now, the feature shows the pop-up; it does not (yet) send actions such as tags or workflow triggers back from ConnectMe.

  • VoIPcube call pop-ups displayed inside ConnectMe.

Not included

  • Caller ID selection (this is already available natively in ConnectMe).

  • Call history.

  • VoIPcube features such as call tagging.

  • Remote command execution

To make use of the call history, call tagging, remote command execution, and local HTTPS requests please make use of the standalone VoIPcube Client.
